A Green Jobs “WPA”

"We've got roads and bridges across this country that need rebuilding; We've got more than one million unemployed construction workers ready to get dirty right now; I still believe both parties can work together to solve our problems"  Barack Obama

 The Cool-America Plan uses "top-down" ecomoimcs to calculate the best way to create the most amount of jobs in the shortest amount of time.  Given that corporations are America's "Job Creators," it stands to reason that by offering incentives  for employers to paint roofs, pavements, and buildings with solar reflective coatings, we could get America back to work.   The good news is that these will be jobs that companies like Walmart, cannot ship to China.  The work is to be done is on America soil and could re-envirgorate our economy.

AMERICA'S "JOB CREATORS"

The Cool-America Plan starts with the assumption that tax incentives for the top US companies would result in climate change related projects to potentially generate the most employment, a sampling of which is as follows.  Number of jobs created, plus nationwide enegry savings and kilowatt hour savings are indicated.

The adoption of a "tax credit" equal to the cost ------ this would incentivize company's to employ the necessary workers to get the job done.
